Poznámka Relativní permitivita vzduchu při normálním atmosferickém tlaku se rovná 1,000 53, takže v praxi lze pro stanovení relativní permitivity s dostatečnou přesností běžně použít kapacitance konfigurace elektrod ve vzduchu.
