Council Directive 2001/95/EC
These are not harmonized standards but mandate standards published in support of the Directive 2001/95/EC.
Council Directive 2001/95/EC will be repealed on 13 December 2024 and replaced by Regulation of EP and of Council No (EU)2023/988 Commission Decision: (EU)2023/1338 (applicable from 20.7. 2023) 2010/11/EC (childproof, consumer-mounted locking devices for windows and balcony doors); 2010/9/EC (bath rings, bathing aids and bath tubs and stands for infants and young children);
2009/490/EC (personal music players);
2009/251/EC (products containing the biocide dimethylfumarate) - repealed - Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (consolidated text 6. 8. 2023) is used - annex XVII, item No 61 Dimethylfumarate (DMF)
2008/264/EC (fire safety requirements to be met by European standards for cigarettes);
