2000/21/EC// The REACH Regulation also applies to pyrotechnic articles and explosives: Article 2(1) does not expressly exclude pyrotechnic articles or explosives from its scope; Under certain conditions, pyrotechnic articles may be subject to the obligation to register the substance in the article pursuant to Article 7(1) (articles may contain a substance or mixture, and in most cases involve a combination of the article (container/packaging) and the substance/mixture);
further, the obligation to communicate information in the supply chain: Title IV – although safety data sheets are not usually issued for articles, for pyrotechnic articles it is recommended to provide a safety data sheet only to legal entities, not to consumers; for consumers, it is sufficient to provide the necessary information on the packaging of the product (article)
