European Standards at CENELEC

CENELEC is the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, headquartered in Brussels. The acronym CENELEC is derived from the French name Comité Européen de Normalisation Electrotechnique. It is responsible for developing European standards (EN) and harmonization documents (HD). Technical work is carried out by technical committees, subcommittees, and working groups.
