Exempted items are textiles, leather, furs, and hides and skins, as well as related accessories and footwear used as personal protective equipment (parts of such equipment) falling within the scope of risk category III(a), (c) to (f), (h), and (l) of Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council; devices falling within the scope of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 of the European Parliament and of the Council and devices falling within the scope of Regulation (EU) 2017/746 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

; Amendment (EU) 2025/1090 shall apply from June 23, 2025; the restriction shall apply from December 23, 2026
